Credit Hypocrisy

Greg Hughes has a nice blog and good entry on Credit Counseling. I thought I would add my 2 cents. Greg covers all the basics so just read his entry. At work, we do advertising for a living. We only have a couple perfect records. Every temporary check we've taken has bounced, so we don't take temporary checks anymore. Similarly, we've had trouble collecting from every credit counseling/debt recovery service who has advertised with us. If this post gets me in trouble, so be it, but maybe it will get a couple of them to PAY UP. Ironically, if you don't pay us, we send you to collections and hit your credit.

Perhaps making the credit ratings of credit repair companies public would help!?!

It's all about transparency. As doctors will tell you, when you peel back the skin, the inside isn't pretty, but it is informative.
