Update: Now that I'm home with reliable internet service, this sub is almost certainly an Ohio class ballistic missile submarine. The only attack sub based near Seattle is the Jimmy Carter. All the others are Ohio class missile boats. The Jimmy Carter does not show planes on the conning tower in any of the photos I could find (those things sticking out sideways from the tower). It also has a slightly different shaped conning tower. So this is a Trident nuclear missile boat. The Navy intentionally does not provide identifying numbers on their submarines so there's no telling which boat it actually is.
