In classic, "hit it with a hammer 'til it's fixed" fashion, I simply went out and bought a new router last night. That seems to have fixed the issue.
Yes, I may be able to do hard reset on the old router but time was of the essence and I didn't want to fiddle around until it was too late to buy a new router. So we're backup. Thanks for your patience!
