Pacman Jones is going to be a Cowboy! Whether or not his suspension will be lifted is another story. The Cowboys need a corner, they've got a strong organization to help keep him out of trouble and a strong group of guys in the locker room to reinforce good behavior.
This is probably Pacman's last shot. Much of the league agrees that Dallas' player development and support is about as good as it gets. Tank Johnson came to Dallas as a troubled player and managed to keep clean last season. Hopefully Pacman can do the same.
Interestingly, while Tank Johnson was effective last year, he wasn't the impact player that folks hoped for. But, he started in the middle of the season and folks around him suddenly got dramatically better. I'd love to see the same thing happen to Pacman. If the Dallas corners suddenly get dramatically better because there's some competition for the job, it won't matter if Pacman is affected.
OK, enough Dallas talk. I'm focused back on the Magic now that they have a shot.
