And you though Sarbanes-Oxley had tough sentences! A Chinese accountant and his partner in crime have been sentenced to death for a bank fraud committed in 2003. Sure they kept about $61 million of the money but bond king Michael Milken made close to $300 million on insider trading in the 80's. He paid his $100 million fine and has been out of jail for years. Jeffrey Skilling of Enron fame is just starting his 24 year sentence. Remember, if you're going to steal, do it in America!
