Ink By the Barrel

The old saying is never pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel (meaning newspaper editors). But what happens when a magazine writer and a best selling novelist duke it out? Why ink manufacturers see their stock go up of course.

The Economist has the scoop on the verbal salvos between the New Republic's Michael Crowley and Jurassic Park novelist (ER creator, yada yada) Michael Crichton.

Put me in Crichton's corner. Crichton writes mostly fiction. Crowley wants to argue with fiction?
