I mentioned Holiday World in my previous post on our road trip. Holiday World is a family owned theme park in Santa Claus, Indiana. With 3 world class roller coasters, we were looking forward to it, until the kids chickened out. Micah finally rode the Raven with me.
As frequent Disney/Universal/Sea World visitors we tend to always compare parks.
On the plus side, it's a nice park and we had a lot of fun. We did miss the little things. Back stories for rides, parking attendants, speedy lines, bag searches at the front gate. Well, maybe not that last one.
It's tough to compete with the best. On the water park side they struggled with a conveyor system designed to bring tubes to the top of the ride. It kept jamming and ballooning ride wait times.
But we still had fun. If you find yourself in Santa Claus, spend a day or two at Holiday World.
